Reindeer clothespin ornaments
What You’ll Need
- wooden flat slotted clothespins
- mini pom poms (black, red, brown)
- mini googly eyes
- glue gun
- fine ribbon or twine
- brown craft paint (optional)

What To Do
Step 1
If you’re not painting the clothes pins, go to step 2.
Take a small amount of brown craft paint in a small container. Add some water until the paint is quite watery. We’re going for a light wash or stain instead of a solid brown. Paint 2 clothes pins with the wash and let dry.

Step 2
Once the clothespins are dry, glue the two clothespins together in the opposite direction from each other. One clothespin will be the legs, and the other will be the face and antlers.

Step 3
Cut some ribbon or twine roughly six inches long, tie into a knot and glue to the back of the reindeer antlers. This will be your ornament hanger.

Step 4
Now for the fun part, making your reindeer come to life. Glue two googly eyes and either a red or black pom pom nose onto the face.

Step 5
Glue either a brown or white larger pom pom onto the backside for a tail

Aren’t these reindeer ornaments just the cutest? I hope you and your little ones have a chance to make them and enjoy the creative fun together!
Until next time
