Good morning friends! This morning I want to show you how to make these super cute DIY Reindeer Ornaments. The weeks are flying by now that we’re into November! Gosh, my goal is to have all my shopping done by the end of the month, but I’m starting to run out of time! How are you doing with your holiday shopping? It’s always such a busy time getting ready for Christmas, but I love taking time on the weekends to do some fun holiday crafts with the kids. It doesn’t matter how old they are, my kids love making crafts together!
This is a super fun & easy Christmas tree ornament you can do with the kids in a few minutes, with very little mess. I’m sure these cute reindeer will be a hit with your kids.
DIY Reindeer Ornaments
What You Need:
- Christmas light bulb
- brown pipe cleaner
- googly eyes
- small red pom poms
- wire hanger
- glue gun
What To Do:
Step 1:
Bend your pipe cleaner into two loops and twist the ends around the middle of the stem. Then shape each loop into antlers with 3 humps. I made the 2 outer humps smaller than the middle one.
Step 2
Glue the antlers onto the base of the light bulb with a glue gun
Step 3
Hot glue the googly eyes, and nose. I also glued a wire hanger onto the back of the bulb base. You could also use a piece of twine or whatever you have on hand.
Well, you can’t get much easier than that! And how cute are they!?!! Give it a try, I know your kids will love to make these, especially if you have different sized googly eyes on hand. Super quick & easy! My kind of craft for sure!
Be sure to post a picture of your cute DIY reindeer ornaments under “tried it” on my Pinterest pin! I’d love to see your creations!
Until next time
