How To Make Fake Snow
What You’ll Need
- baking soda
- white conditioner
- fine glitter (optional)
- measuring cups
- bowl
- fork to mix
- baking tray

What To Do
Step 1
Start by adding 1 cup of baking soda to a bowl. If you’re making this for multiple kids or want extra snow for more fun, feel free to double the recipe—one box of baking soda will give you about 2 cups!

Step 2
Measure out 1/4 cup of white conditioner and add it to the baking soda. If you want to add sparkles to your fake snow, you can do that now.

Step 3
Using a fork, mix the baking soda, conditioner and glitter if using, until well combined.

Step 4
Spread your fake snow onto a large baking sheet or in a glass baking dish to help keep the mess contained while the kids play. Dive in and have fun. I guarantee you will be right in there playing with the kids! It’s that fun!

Now you know how to make fake snow! Be sure to store your snow in an air tight container, or a ziplock baggie to keep it from drying out. Let me know in the comments if you’ve tried this recipe and how the kids liked it. Have so much fun and happy crafting!
Until next time
