Looking for stinky shoe remedy? I mean, do you have shoes so stinky that they could peel the paint off the walls? You’re in the right place! Today I want to share with you two tried and true DIY Shoe Deodorizer hacks that work!

Seriously, three of my kids would come home from school with shoes so stinky I would almost gag! Every day I would march them upstairs to wash their feet! How tiring…..and believe me THEY were tired of hearing me say “Hi, how was your day? GO WASH YOUR FEET!”

Then I discovered two super EASY DIY shoe deodorizer hacks that actually work! No more stinky shoes!

In all honesty, I can’t just blame my kids for stinky shoes. I have to wear steel toed shoes at my job and they make my feet sweat and stink! How disgusting! And what about wearing flats with no socks in the summer time? I KNOW some of you are agreeing with me right now! It doesn’t matter what type of shoes, boots, flats, sneakers……these recipes will work.

They are super simple and I’m sure you probably have the ingredients on hand!

NOTE: I have used the alcohol spray on its own and it has worked to deodorized the shoes. I have also used only the two bars of soap and that has also worked. You could use one OR the other methods. I choose to use both at the same time for double protection.

Pretty simple huh? No more stinky shoes!

Until next time

  1. It is a shame my daughter did not find this recipe. She was just divorced after about 20 years, and one of the main complaints was his stinky tennis shoes! WOW! I am sure there were other issues, But PEOPLE, WAKE UP! You can do something about this now. I am going to try it as soon as I begin gardening this spring. Thanks!
